Marina Abramović: Spirit House
BoCA - Biennial of Contemporary Arts presents the return of Marina Abramović to Portugal, in collaboration with Carpintarias de São Lázaro.

The last time she came here was in 1997, with the Spirit House installation, which she designed for the old municipal slaughterhouse in Caldas da Rainha. Now, 22 years later, the same installation is displayed at Carpintarias de São Lázaro in Lisbon.

Spirit House is a series of five videos in dialogue, in which we see Marina Abramovic performing different acts that she created for the camera: 'Dissolution', 'Insomnia', 'Luminosity', 'Dozing Consciousness' and 'Lost Souls'.

Spirit House Commented Tour :: Delfim Sardo

Delfim Sardo was the one who, in 1997, curated Marina Abramovic's installation "Spirit House" at the Caldas da Rainha Municipal Slaughterhouse. With the installation at Carpintarias de São Lázaro, Delfim Sardo invites us for a commented tour.
